CLEAN/C factory recently launched the 40mm Yachting series 126622 and 126655 rose gold versions. 1. Left/Right Sides: GEN = Genuine, Clean = Clean factory product. 2. The gray left side appears slightly different in color under soft lighting, but under natural light, the similarity is over 95%. A natural light comparison will be provided later. 3. The blue right side of the C factory is slightly lighter than the genuine product. Of course, the characteristic of a sunburst dial is that the color appears different under different lighting conditions. To be precise, as long as the RGB color values are on a consistent baseline, there won't be a significant deviation. Because C factory uses the same PVD plating process as the genuine product on all sunburst dials, such as the Submariner, various date dials, and this Yachting dial, involving colored sunburst patterns, the advantage is that the color of the finished product will not differ due to batch variations. Additionally, the plating is thin, allowing the sunburst pattern on the bottom to be clearly seen. However, this also increases the cost. 4. This time, the bezel uses electroplated PVD white gold with an anti-fingerprint coating. The bezel material has also been changed from ordinary brass to stainless steel. This means that even if the bezel is bumped or damaged, and the electroplating layer is broken, revealing the base color, it will still look the same as white gold. However, stainless steel is harder than ordinary brass. This shows that considerable effort has been put into processing and cost control.
