The large, sturdy links are remarkably flexible. Each link visually extends the case's silhouette, gradually narrowing towards the clasp before finally merging with the folding clasp to securely and comfortably rest the watch on the wrist. →→Dial Analysis: The dial features a blue PVD-treated finish. It is decorated with the Nautilus series' signature horizontal embossed pattern, while below it are the 40th anniversary inscriptions "40" and "1976-2016". The baton-shaped hour markers are crafted from 18K gold and set with top-quality square-cut diamonds weighing approximately 0.34 carats, creating the exclusive and prestigious style of this limited-edition model. →→Movement Analysis: It is powered by the 324 SC automatic movement, which beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), resulting in a daily error range of only -3 to +2 seconds. The 324 SC movement showcases impeccable craftsmanship. To this day, most of the work is still done by hand, including the rounded beveling and polishing of the bridge edges, Geneva stripes, gold engraving, circular graining, and the cross-shaped pattern adorning the rotor. The rotor, made of 21K gold, converts the slightest movement of the wrist into energy for automatic winding.
